Interested in working with refugees? No Lost Generation WKU, will be holding its first meeting of the semester on Thursday, September 7th at 5:30pm in DSU 2086. NLG-WKU is part of a national student initiative supported by the Department of State with the purpose of addressing the needs of young refugees through advocacy, fundraising, and volunteering. Some of our events last year included a panel discussion with local leaders, a virtual reality event depicting a refugee camp in Jordan, and a pasta dinner fundraiser for the International Center.
